Ingredients:
- 1 kilo chicken
- 1 kilo unripe papaya, sliced (see picture)
- 1 medium sized ginger, peeled and sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 medium sized onion, chopped
- dahon ng sili (chili leaves)
- salt and pepper to taste
- patis (fish sauce)
- cooking oil
- 4 cups water
- 1 Knorr Chicken Broth Cube
Procedure:
- In a large pot, saute the ginger first until golden brown then add in the onions and garlic. When the onions is already translucent, add in the chicken.
- Saute chicken until it becomes white. Pour 3 tablespoons patis and black pepper to taste. Stir then pour the water.
- Add in the Knorr chicken broth cube then let it boil for about 5 minutes then add in the papaya.
- Let it simmer for until papaya is ready. Do not over cook.
- Add the chili leaves 1 minute before you turn off the fire.
- Correct the taste according to your preference.
- Best served hot and with rice! Easy A? =)
