Home Made Fish Ball Sauce




Fish balls are one of the most common and probably the most favorite street foods in the Philippines served on carts. Usual fish ball carts roam around the streets and stop by where most people go grab some snacks.

I love street foods! I always crave for it that's why I usually buy 1 kilo pack of fish balls at the market to be cooked at home as my midnight snacks and also while watching movies!


Home Made Fish Ball Sauce Ingredients:

1/3 cup soy sauce
1/3 cup vinegar
1/3 tbsp. brown sugar
1 cup water
1 slice siling labuyo (hot chilli)
1 tbsp. cornstarch dissolved in 1-2 tbsp. water
1/2 tsp. black ground pepper

Procedure:

1. Mix the soy sauce sauce, vinegar, brown sugar, water, black ground pepper and siling labuyo in a saucepan.
2. Let it boil then add cornstarch.
3. Cook over medium heat until slightly thick.
