Nothing beats a home made spaghetti and a fried chicken recipe! :p~
Spaghetti Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 kg. ground beef
- 1 med. onion, finely chopped
- 1 green pepper, finely chopped
- 2 (15 oz. each) cans tomato sauce
- 2 (12 oz. each) cans tomato paste
- 2 (1 1/2 oz. each) Italian style spaghetti sauce mix with mushrooms
- 1 can mushrooms
- 3 c. water
- 1 tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. oregano leaves
- 2 clove garlic, crushed
- 1/2 tsp. italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp. basil leaves
- 16 oz. Italian style spaghetti
- Grated Parmesan/Cheddar cheese
Procedure:
Cook and stir meat, onion, and pepper until meat is brown and onion is tender. Stir in remaining ingredients except spaghetti and Parmesan cheese. Cover; simmer 1 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally. Cook spaghetti as directed on package; drain. Serve meat sauce over hot spaghetti.

Fried Chicken Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 kilo chicken, cut into pieces/ all drumsticks
- flour/ breading for dredging
- oil for frying
Marinade:
- 1/4 kilo kalamansi
- 5 cloves of garlic, crushed
- 1/4 cups soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp paprika seasoning
- Salt and pepper
- 1/2 tbsp sugar
Procedure:
- Blend marinade well and combine with the chicken pieces. It’s best to marinate for 4 hours in the refrigerator. Stir meat occasionally to distribute marinade evenly.
- Roll chicken pieces in flour/breading. My technique was to put the flour/breading on a zip loc bag or any small food plastic. Put chicken one at a time and shake.
- In a non-stick skillet over medium heat, pan-fry chicken pieces in a little oil for 8-10 minutes on each side or until fully cooked and browned on both sides. Drain on paper towel. Serve immediately.
