Ginisang Kalabasa at Talbos ng Sayote (Sauted Squash and Chayote Shoots)

Ingredients:

• 1/4 kilo ground pork or beef
• 1/2 kilo kalabasa, sliced into 1 inch cubes
• 1 bundle talbos ng sayote (Chayote shoots), cut
• 1 medium sized onion, chopped
• 3 cloves garlic, chopped
• 2 meium sized tomatoes, sliced
• 1 cup water
• 2 tablespoons cooking oil
• 1 Knorr Pork/ Beef Cube Seasoning
• salt or patis to taste
• ground black pepper

Procedure:

1. In a pan, saute the onions, garlic, tomatoes and ground pork/ beef.
2. Season with patis and ground balck pepper. Also you can already add the Knorr Pork/ Beef Cube.
3. When the pork/ beef is already toasted brown, pour 1 cup of water and let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
4. Add in the cubed kalabasa or squash. Let it simmer for 8 to 10 minutes or until the squash are half cooked. Add more water if needed. Add more 1 teaspoon patis or according to your preferred taste. 
5. Add in talbos ng sayote. Simmer for about 3 minutes then it's done.
