Ginisang Mais with Ampalaya Leaves (Sauted Corn Cobs with Bitter Gourd Leaves)

Ingredients:

• 5-6 cobs of white corn (grated)
• 1 onion, chopped
• 2 cloves garlic, chopped
• 2-3 tomatoes, sliced
• 1/4 kilo ground pork or you can use shrimps
• ampalaya leaves (bitter gourd leaves)
• salt, pepper to taste, much better if you use patis
• cooking oil

Procedure:

1. Saute onion, garlic, tomatoes and the ground pork in 2 tablespoons cooking oil.
2. When the pork is golden brown, add in the grated corn cobs.
3. Add enough water (if you use the shrimp instead of the pork, mashed the shrimp's head, put a little bit water and make it a stock).
4. Season with your preferred seasoning.
5. When the corn is ready, add in the ampalaya leaves.
6. Simmer for few minutes and it's done! Easy A? =)
